Spring 1st half term
Happy New Year!!!!! Welcome back.
Dear Parents,
We hope you have all had a good holiday break. We look forward to getting to know you better this term and we are looking forward to teaching your child many more new things.
Thank you for all your support over the Christmas period. It was much appreciated.

Chell Heath 16 plus group, (The local charity shop- Second Chance) – have given us a cheque for £500.00. We want to thank them very much.
The topic this half term is FOOD. It is one children always love because they can talk about the food they eat at home and at school. It also involves lots of tasting, touching and smelling.
Please turn over the page to see the types of activities your child will be doing over the next half term.
Thank you for remembering to bring in the apple each week. It helps us to promote healthy eating.
Dates to remember:- We break up on Friday 10th February. Children return to school on Monday 20th February.

Home work
Keep encouraging your child with the “home school links work”. If the activity is one they can bring back to school to show us what they have done, then they will get a sticker. Please try and spend five minutes to help your child with the activity every week. Please also remember to put your child’s name on. Thank you.
Let your child have a go at the home work themselves. It does not have to be perfect, so no brothers and sisters doing it please!!! We want to be able to put this work in your child’s Special Book as a record of how you help your child to learn at home too.
